BLUE WHEEL CONSUMER CANCELLATION POLICY

At Blue Wheel, we aim to make your vehicle service experience smooth and flexible. We understand that plans may change, and you may need to cancel a booking. This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations work for services booked via the Blue Wheel App.

 

1. General Cancellation Rules

  • Consumers can cancel bookings directly through the Blue Wheel App within the permitted window.

  • Cancellations made before the Service Center confirms the booking are usually free of charge.

  • Once a booking is confirmed by the Service Center, a minimal cancellation fee may apply.

 

2. Cancellation Windows

  • Pickup/Drop Services

    • Can be cancelled anytime before the vehicle pickup.

  • Doorstep Services

    • Can be cancelled before the start of the service at the Consumer’s location.

  • In-Service Cancellations

    • Once the service has started at the Service Center or doorstep, cancellation is not permitted.

 

3. Blue Wheel’s Rights

Blue Wheel may cancel a booking under the following circumstances:

  • Service Center is unavailable or overbooked.

  • Consumer-provided details are incorrect.

  • Technical/system issues prevent confirmation.

In such cases, Consumers will be notified promptly, and any prepaid amount will be refunded in line with our Refund Policy.

 

4. Cancellation Charges

  • A minimal cancellation fee may or may not be applied depending on the booking status and stage of cancellation.

  • Any applicable fee will be displayed at the time of cancellation within the App.

 

5. Refunds on Cancellation

  • For prepaid bookings, refunds (after deducting applicable cancellation fees, if any) will be processed in accordance with the Refund Policy.

  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 7–10 business days via Razorpay.

 

6. No-Show Policy

  • If the Consumer is unavailable at the agreed pickup/drop location or doorstep service location at the scheduled time, the booking will be treated as a No-Show.

  • In case of a No-Show:

    • The booking will be cancelled automatically.

    • A minimal cancellation fee may apply.

    • No refund will be provided for prepaid bookings.

 

7. Modifications to Policy

  • Blue Wheel may update or amend this Cancellation Policy at any time.

  • Updates will be communicated via the App or website. Continued use of Blue Wheel services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

BLUE WHEEL SERVICE PARTNER CANCELLATION POLICY

At Blue Wheel, we expect Service Partners to maintain reliability and trust with Consumers. This Cancellation Policy explains the obligations of Service Partners regarding booking cancellations.

 

1. Commitment to Confirmed Bookings

  • Once a booking is confirmed, Service Partners are expected to honor the booking without cancellations.

  • Cancellations by Service Partners should only occur in unavoidable circumstances.

 

2. Permissible Reasons for Cancellation

Service Partners may cancel a confirmed booking only under exceptional situations, such as:

  • Operational constraints (e.g., sudden unavailability of staff or facilities).

  • Emergencies (e.g., natural disasters, unforeseen breakdowns, safety concerns).

  • Incorrect or incomplete details provided by the Consumer that prevent service delivery.

 

3. Partner Responsibilities

  • Service Partners must notify the Consumer promptly if a cancellation becomes unavoidable.

  • Where possible, Service Partners should:

    • Suggest an alternative time slot,

 

4. Impact of Cancellations

  • Frequent or repeated cancellations by Service Partners may:

    • Reduce the Partner’s Health Score.

    • Affect visibility in search results and recommendations within the Blue Wheel App.

  • Blue Wheel reserves the right to take corrective actions, including:

    • Temporary suspension of booking privileges.

    • Reduced priority in allocation of new Consumers.

    • Permanent removal from the Blue Wheel platform (in severe cases).

 

5. Blue Wheel’s Role

  • Blue Wheel monitors Service Partner performance, including booking acceptance and cancellation rates.

  • In case of disputes, Blue Wheel may review the cancellation history and take a fair decision based on the facts.

 

6. Modifications to Policy

  • Blue Wheel may update or amend this Cancellation Policy at any time.

  • Updates will be communicated through the Partner App or email. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
